Disclaimer

Effective Date: June 25, 2025
Website: eLearnCare.com

This Disclaimer applies to eLearnCare.com, its online learning platform, courses, certificates, downloadable materials, training content, quizzes, videos, templates, communications, and related digital services collectively referred to as the “Services.”

By accessing, purchasing, enrolling in, or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer.

1. Educational and Informational Purpose Only

eLearnCare provides online training content and learning resources for caregivers, home care aides, supervisors, agency staff, billing teams, recruiters, marketers, and other home-care-related professionals.

The Services are provided for educational, informational, professional development, and training-support purposes only.

eLearnCare is not a healthcare provider, home health agency, home services agency, staffing agency, licensing authority, accrediting body, payer, regulatory agency, legal advisor, or compliance consultant.

Nothing on this website or within the Services should be interpreted as medical advice, clinical instruction, legal advice, regulatory approval, employment advice, financial advice, or a substitute for professional judgment.

2. No Medical, Clinical, Legal, or Compliance Advice

The information provided through eLearnCare is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any medical condition. It is also not intended to replace the judgment of licensed healthcare professionals, agency supervisors, nurses, physicians, compliance officers, attorneys, or regulatory authorities.

Users should consult qualified professionals for matters involving:

  • Medical care or clinical decisions

  • Patient/client safety concerns

  • Legal or regulatory compliance

  • Licensing or certification requirements

  • Employment or HR decisions

  • Payer, Medicaid, Medicare, or reimbursement requirements

  • State-specific caregiver or home care training obligations

Use of eLearnCare does not create a professional, clinical, fiduciary, attorney-client, employment, agency, supervisory, or advisory relationship between eLearnCare and any user, learner, customer, employer, agency, or organization.

3. Customer and Learner Responsibility

Each learner, employer, agency, organization, or customer is solely responsible for determining whether a course, certificate, training record, or learning activity satisfies any applicable requirement.

Training requirements may vary based on:

  • State or local law

  • Agency license type

  • Job role or scope of duties

  • Payer program

  • Medicaid waiver program

  • Employer policy

  • Accreditation standard

  • Client population served

  • Care setting

  • Regulatory interpretation or update

eLearnCare does not assume responsibility for determining which laws, regulations, policies, or training requirements apply to any specific user, employer, agency, or care setting.

Customers and learners are responsible for verifying applicable requirements with their employer, licensing authority, regulatory agency, legal counsel, compliance consultant, or other appropriate professional.

4. No Guarantee of Compliance, Approval, Licensure, or Certification

eLearnCare may describe certain courses as “aligned with,” “designed to support,” “based on,” or “intended to help with” certain training topics, standards, or industry expectations.

Such language does not mean that eLearnCare guarantees regulatory compliance, state approval, licensure, certification, audit acceptance, payer acceptance, job qualification, or agency approval.

Completion of an eLearnCare course does not automatically:

  • Grant a license

  • Create state certification

  • Qualify a learner for employment

  • Guarantee job placement

  • Satisfy all employer requirements

  • Satisfy all Medicaid, Medicare, IDoA, IDPH, or other regulatory requirements

  • Establish clinical competency

  • Replace employer orientation

  • Replace supervised practical training

  • Replace competency evaluation

  • Replace agency documentation obligations

  • Guarantee acceptance by any agency, employer, regulator, payer, or accrediting body

Unless expressly stated in a written agreement or official approval document, eLearnCare does not represent that any course is formally approved by any government agency, licensing body, payer, accreditor, or professional board.

5. Illinois, Home Care, Home Health, and Regulated Training Limitations

Some eLearnCare content may relate to Illinois home care, home services, home health, Medicaid home care aide training, in-service training, caregiver onboarding, supervisory training, documentation, EVV, client rights, infection control, safety, and related operational topics.

Such content is designed to support learning and agency training workflows. It does not replace the responsibility of an employer, agency, supervisor, nurse, or regulatory professional to determine and document full compliance.

Where home health aide, home care aide, Medicaid waiver, or similar regulated training requirements apply, the responsible agency or employer must determine whether online training is permitted, whether additional in-person training is required, whether supervised practical training is required, whether competency evaluation is required, and whether documentation meets the applicable standard.

eLearnCare online coursework may not, by itself, satisfy requirements that call for hands-on instruction, direct supervision, nurse-led training, agency-based competency evaluation, field observation, client-specific training, or employer verification.

6. Certificates and Training Records

Certificates, completion records, progress reports, quiz results, and platform-generated documentation reflect activity completed through eLearnCare.

They are not, by themselves:

  • A professional license

  • A state certification

  • A government approval

  • A clinical competency determination

  • A guarantee of job readiness

  • Proof of legal qualification

  • A substitute for employer verification

  • A substitute for required agency files

  • A substitute for regulatory audit documentation

Acceptance of any certificate, course record, or training document is at the discretion of the employer, agency, licensing body, payer, accreditor, regulator, or other reviewing authority.

Users and employers should retain any additional documentation required by law, regulation, payer rule, agency policy, or audit standard.

7. Employment and Career Disclaimer

eLearnCare may provide training intended to support professional growth, job readiness, caregiver onboarding, supervisory development, or home-care workforce preparation.

However, eLearnCare does not guarantee:

  • Employment

  • Job placement

  • Promotion

  • Wage increase

  • Agency acceptance

  • Employer acceptance

  • Immigration or work authorization outcomes

  • Contract opportunities

  • Career advancement

  • Business growth or revenue results

Any employment, hiring, credentialing, onboarding, or promotion decision remains solely with the employer, agency, organization, or relevant decision-maker.

8. Agency, Employer, and Supervisor Responsibility

Employers, home care agencies, home health agencies, supervisors, administrators, and organizational customers are solely responsible for:

  • Assigning appropriate training

  • Confirming role-specific requirements

  • Verifying learner identity where required

  • Confirming course completion

  • Maintaining personnel files

  • Conducting competency evaluations

  • Providing required orientation

  • Providing client-specific instruction

  • Providing hands-on or supervised practical training when required

  • Ensuring caregivers are qualified for assigned duties

  • Monitoring caregiver performance

  • Complying with applicable laws, regulations, payer rules, and agency policies

eLearnCare is not responsible for caregiver actions, omissions, errors, client outcomes, agency operations, documentation failures, supervision failures, reimbursement denials, audit findings, or regulatory deficiencies.

9. Accuracy, Updates, and Regulatory Changes

eLearnCare makes reasonable efforts to provide useful, accurate, and current educational content. However, laws, regulations, payer requirements, industry standards, agency policies, and best practices may change without notice.

eLearnCare does not warrant or guarantee that any content is complete, current, error-free, or applicable to every jurisdiction, agency, employer, learner, or situation.

Users should cross-check applicable requirements with official sources, regulators, employers, licensing bodies, legal counsel, or compliance professionals before relying on any training content for compliance purposes.

eLearnCare may update, modify, remove, replace, or revise content at any time without prior notice.

10. No Reliance as Sole Source

Users agree not to rely on eLearnCare as the sole source for legal, regulatory, clinical, operational, employment, training, or compliance decisions.

All decisions made by a learner, employer, agency, supervisor, administrator, or organization based on eLearnCare content are made at that party’s own discretion and risk.

11. Third-Party Links and Resources

The website or courses may include links, references, examples, citations, downloads, tools, or resources from third-party websites or organizations.

These third-party resources are provided for convenience only. eLearnCare does not control, endorse, verify, approve, or assume responsibility for third-party content, policies, accuracy, availability, security, or practices.

Users access third-party links and resources at their own risk.

12. User-Provided and Customer-Provided Content

If users, agencies, employers, instructors, or customers upload, submit, distribute, or provide policies, documents, videos, SOPs, forms, training materials, learner information, or other content through eLearnCare, they remain solely responsible for that content.

eLearnCare does not warrant that user-provided or customer-provided content is legal, accurate, compliant, complete, appropriate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any uploaded or shared content does not violate privacy laws, intellectual property rights, employment laws, confidentiality obligations, client rights, or applicable healthcare regulations.

13. Privacy, Confidentiality, and Sensitive Information

Users should not submit protected health information, confidential client information, private medical records, Social Security numbers, financial information, or other sensitive personal information unless specifically required, authorized, and handled under appropriate privacy and security safeguards.

Any collection, storage, or processing of personal information is governed by eLearnCare’s Privacy Policy and applicable platform terms.

This Disclaimer does not modify, expand, or replace the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, or any separate written agreement between eLearnCare and a customer.

14. Platform Availability and Technical Disclaimer

eLearnCare makes reasonable efforts to keep the website and learning platform available and functional. However, eLearnCare does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device or browser, or continuous availability of all features.

Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet issues, third-party systems, hosting providers, user device settings, browser limitations, payment systems, LMS errors, or circumstances beyond eLearnCare’s control.

eLearnCare is not responsible for delays, interruptions, data loss, incomplete submissions, inability to access a course, inability to download a certificate, or technical issues outside its reasonable control.

15. Payment, Enrollment, and Course Access

Course pricing, access periods, enrollment terms, refunds, promotions, discounts, and availability may vary and may be changed at any time unless otherwise stated in writing.

Purchasing or enrolling in a course does not guarantee successful completion, certification, job placement, employer acceptance, or regulatory approval.

Users are responsible for reviewing the applicable course description, refund terms, and access rules before purchase.

16. Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Digital Tools

If eLearnCare uses automated tools, AI-assisted content, quizzes, learning recommendations, summaries, chatbot features, or automated reporting, such tools are provided for convenience and educational support only.

Automated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific legal, regulatory, clinical, or operational purpose.

Users must independently review and validate any automated output before using it for training, compliance, documentation, employment, supervision, or operational decisions.
